Welcome to Peachland's 50 Plus Activity Centre.

The purpose of the Peachland and District Retirement Society (PDRS) is to provide a setting where persons of fifty years of age and over are able to use their talents, experience, energies and creative abilities to organize and operate recreational, cultural and educational activities that are of interest and benefit to the members, and that support a need in the community.

The PDRS offers a variety of services and events in which members can take part and enjoy.  There are a number of activities where members meet weekly to socialize, exercise, sing, dance, paint, quilt, play cards and games and do wood carving.  If you want to get involved, click on the link below or take a look at the monthly calendar. You can also contact us and we'll put you in touch with the right people.

Membership is $20.00 per year and entitles you to take part in our monthly potlucks and other organized activities. We also have a yearly bus trip and a Tea for our 80's plus members.

Fundraising is supported by the four pancake breakfasts that we host as well as our famous Thursday Bingo night.  The hall is also available for rentals.  It can be as simple as renting just the hall or having access to our professional kitchen for use by your caterers.  For more information and prices please call the office between 9:30 - 11:30 am, Monday through Friday.  Summer office hours in July and August are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 am.

Our hall has 235 person capacity.  We have 6 and 8 foot folding tables, stacking chairs with arm rests and upholstered folding chairs.  There are also two smaller rooms for small meetings.

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia and the District of Peachland.
